Nicholas D. Schooley, D.D.S.
Dr. Nicholas Schooley is a second- generation dentist and a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He went on to receive his undergraduate education at Miami University in Oxford where he majored in zoology. A proud Buckeye fan, he followed in his father’s footsteps and received his dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
In his 37 years of practice, Dr. Schooley always has been guided by integrity and a passion for quality patient care. Early in his career, he provided dental care for the elderly in nursing homes, for inmates at the Franklin County Correctional Center, and for underserved children in a pediatric practice. More recently, he has provided volunteer dental care at both the Blackfeet and Navajo Native American Reservations in Montana and New Mexico. These diverse experiences have helped him to build an understanding of both comprehensive dental care and a greater empathy for all individuals.
Dr. Schooley has maintained membership in the Columbus Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a certified Invisalign provider and has additional training in sleep apnea and airway issues and is a member of the Dental Sleep Network.
Dr. Schooley met his wife, Ruth, when he was a dental student and she was a law student at The Ohio State University. They, and their three children, Jimmy, George and Ellen, are active members of The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral and are proud supporters of the Upper Arlington Golden Bears and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Dr. Schooley and his staff take great pride in getting to know their patients and taking the time to understand their unique needs and concerns. They strive to help their patients understand their treatment options and provide guidance in determining the best way to fulfill their treatment needs. The greatest compliment that Dr. Schooley and his staff can receive is a referral from family or friends.
